Hi!

I just bought an Intous3 and I absolutly love working with it and Painter X combined! But Something happened just now which I can't understand.
One of the fine things about Intous3 and Painter is that if you tilt the pen in any given direction, painter reacts differently depending on what type of pencil or brush you are using.

I love this function. But suddenly today when I was about to start working. I noticed that the function sort of was "off". The tablet feels the difference when I tilt the pen around. But when I am to draw, it draws as if I had the pen straight down. Which it wouldn't if the function was working like it should. I've tried restarting painter, the tablet and finaly the computer. But no difference. So I wonder if there might be a function in painter that I might have stumbled opon without knowing?

Please help...

Okay... I tried reinstalling the Intous3. And it wasn't painter that was the problem. Some how the function had switched off. But how? Can you control that somehow?

OS = XP

Very strange thing... I mean settings aren't supposed to change just like that.

Try and get the latest driver for intuos 3 from Wacom site and install them. Also does the pen tilt work in other programs besides Painter? If it is the driver problem and the latest one still don't work, get in touch with Wacom customer support.

Also if you are using Painter X, have you patched it to X.1 ? Try that too.

Everything is of the latest version avalible. It works now. I just needed to reinstall the drivers. But just feels strange that it would turn itself off like that.

No painter is the only prog I've got that you can tilt the pen in. Doesn't work in PS CS3.
