Down, but not out...the Incredible Spaceman Spiff blast's his way out of the cockpit of his downed craft. More than prepared to continue the fight against the pursuing aliens on the surface of the desolate alien planet!!

(Need to take better pics, but...here it is for now)
I realize this really isn't conceptual, but it's my latest sculpt, and thought I would share. Trying to show some range in my various sculpts, also prove to myself that I can take 2D and make it 3D without it sucking. I wanted to do a "tribute sculpt" to Bill Watterson...the creator of these awesome characters and a source of great joy for me over the years. :)

If for some reason some don't know who this is...here's one comic for example.

THANKS!! However, I haven't colored any of my sculpts to date...(had more people say not to than said to)...but maybe one day. I've already got my mind set on the next project..so..this is it. Took me about 7 hours (of fun) from start to finish. Here's the size....ship is roughly 6" in diameter, and it's about 11" from base to tip of smoke trail. I enjoyed making this one immensely. :)

(Need better pics taken of it however...since you can't really see the cockpit detailing)

Thanks Odin!! Nope...no coloring yet...I'm a sculptor, and am really wanting to stretch that out. I will one day get into painting, but I wanna get great at one first before goin' at the other. ;) Clay is my passion.
