I just recently picked up the pencil and started drawing after a long time of not drawing. These were quick, maybe 5-10 mins each.

I couldn't quite figure out the perspective to draw the rest of her body, so I decided to go the easy (-er) way and just cover her with a nice blanket.

Began as a quick 30-sec pose sketch, but I decided to flesh it out a bit. I know about the hideously ugly feet, so if you've got any advice, please share it with me.
All I ask for is crits'n comments.

wow, i don't really know what not to crit, but that's not your fault you just need more practice, and only drawing 2 at a time isn't really helping, spend a good couple of hours a day just doing anatomy studies, hands heads and poses, and you definitely will imrpove because at this point it looks like you did this in blind contour style, and if you did then they're actually really good, but if not then keep going please

2 hours a day?!?!?? With school, homework, games, browsing the internet, learning 3D Studio Max, reading Fóstbræðrasaga (old (1100-1200) Icelandic book(=difficult and time consuming)), and then 4 hours of sleep each night,... I can´t see how I could fit it in my schedule. I´ll try, though. :D
...Maybe if I tried to draw bigger, instead of drawing characters that are barely 5cm tall, if even that.

i am sure you can remove the browsing internet and gaming out of that list. its very unnessesary

YOU HEATHEN!!! Gaming is the very essence of my life! If it weren't for gaming my life wouldn't have been the same. Instead of being a dull existence (life in general) punctuated with brief moments of happiness(videogames), it would have simply been a dull existence, perhaps cut short by suicide because I was too bored to go on.
j/k
But still, you do not know what you're saying. I can not, and I will not, give up gaming... or internet browsing. These are the only two things I've got (besides drawing) that keep me active over the day. That's right, I'm not a very social person, don't have many friends (and those friends I do have I only see at school) and I rarely leave the house (I leave for school and renting a video mostly).
But let's not go any further with this, it'll just end in some stupid debate or something.
I'm pretty sure I could fit drawing somewhere into my daily schedule. I might have to cut back on sleep, though. :D

They need a lot of work to put it bluntly, but not a bad start. Yes schedules can always be hectic, but people always find time doing what they want to do. I would start doing some hardcore anatomy studies like minefield said, just take more time when you have it ;)

Buy heaps of cheap paper and doodle about 20 of these girls on each paper. Someone in CA once said that 5 hours a day would show progress in 6 month - It will be worth it. :D
Good luck :D
And, I almost forgot - did you get the wacom up and running?

*heart attack, dies*
After revival: Yes, I got it up and running. I'm actually doing a digital painting at the moment and it seems to be going ok. I'll be posting a WIP soon.

its apparent that you arent very dedicated to drawing (based on what you have said), so im not sure why you are even looking for feedback. the only way you can get better is to draw all the time... .if youre looking for a career in art, you have to prioritize much differently than you are now.
