Well this is for one of my classes, we had to draw up two differeent pillars then do one of our own. Then we take our concept of choice and model it in 3d...which I am in the process of doing now. Just thought I'd take a break and throw this up here for some C&C.
I went with a pillar that represents the four seasons. Painted in Painter 7.

i'm not sure i like the stone on the tree, but it's a cool idea.
And I don't believe druids would harm/carve the trees. The tree's themselves would have to change the way the look or something.

lol - yeh thats would be a lil weird :p you could make up some other explanation of course- "well the druids live in naturally occurring shelter, shaped by these human - like trees" heh. the trees/pillars look great - and i like the way you used lilacs/leaves for facial features.
