I second that.

I kind of wish I had had his 50 Robots book as a kid. Thompson does a good job of showing a design process that makes sense, but I found some of the pieces to be a little intimidating. The design of the book is nice too. I appreciate how he sets the bar high for me as a reader. His mecha book is also worth reading.
