Very nice. You're very lucky to work with such talented artists (I love Paul Bonner). The layouts are excellent...very professional. I'm sure the final book will be a great piece of work.
My only problem is with the second panel..where the text on the first page goes over the blue it's rather difficult to read.

Ah Jean,
finally you posted some of your work from Ragnarok!!!
Dudes, this guy is wonderful, I have the book he designed all over. His work is tremendous and I'm the happiest person in the world because we already did some stuff together!
Maybe you'll post something later, hmm?
I love your graphic skills and approach to typography and layout. Everything you do is so fresh and sweet and pleasing to the eye. A lot of us artists could learn a hell from you!!!
Love ya, bro!

This is absolutely flawless. I love the seemless connection between your design element and the artists work. Good job... Sincerely, you remind me to practice design a bit more. I think its just as fine of an art as anything else. Ultimately thats what led Klimpt to where he went as a painter. An infusion of design and ideas. Nice. :chug:

I agree with everyone up in here..when they say that shite is tight...
I'm really into design, and love what you've done...
Do you know if there is a plan to translate it in English if not it's all good, i'll purchase it in french, and learn the language...

great stuff.
everything looks really unified, bet the book will rock.
I've been a fan of the Rackham look for a few years now... ordered a bunch of confrontation minis and stuff from Newwave before they were available in the US.
don't have a clue how to play though.
I'll probably pick this up as well just for more art ref ;)

read what it said on the site...sounds extremely interesting.
although you should make something against the compression of the text...you know, this picture sweeps like a banner above all and diminishes the pleasure of reading...also the pictures are too small that way...they go down without big notice.make it better!
and show us something of the new species!:)

Hey ! My first 5 stars ! I have an award !!
thx everyone for the kind replies. I can't reply to every one of you but I'd like to answer a few questions.
Rag'Narok is a wargame designed to involve massive troups in fantastic neverending battles. The translation is on the road and the english version will be released very soon so stay tuned. The box contains to books and a miniature in limited edition, it's already a big success in France and has been sold out in only one month !
Concerning the Degenesis RPG, I think Marko could talk to you about it much better than I'd do. All I can say is that I'm proud to collaborate with him on such a wonderful project. I'm currently working on a calendar showing all the ethnies of the game. More infos to come very soon.
While I was working for Rackham I met Paul Bonner a handful of times. The guy is just perfect, I mean as a person. I don't think he has his own website. Sad for us fans of his work. I had the privilege to take some of his originals in hand and I have to say that it's really impressive and delightful.

Haha! No, you don't have to learn german to play our game. We're currently looking for a licensor in america, to translate our upcoming book. So, as soon as we found someone, you'll be able to enjoy it fully. Mainly, the rulebook will be available from december this year, and will feature 200+ illustration done by me. A preview about the look of the game can be found here: http://www.degenesis.de
Wow, and yes, I'm proud to announce that Living Rope will be designing a bad ass merchandise Calender for us. If everything goes well, this monster comes off press late november. We'll keep you posted here for sure!
Best!

I can only second that. Paul is a great guy and one of the best in the industy in my opinion. Seeing his originals is a real treat as they a fooking huge and filled with details and vibrant colors. I actually think he has been working on a website for some time now. It might happen anytime soon...
When i come to think of it, it has been a while since i last bugged him and drooled over his orginals (he doesnt like drool on his originals, btw...) ;)

You have done a fabulous job of capturing the Rakham stuff. They have a crack team of artists, including sculptors. They have the best designed mini's on the market. Thumbs UP

Whew... I'm almost overwhelmed trying to imagine a whole RPG drawn out with that much skill and detail. This looks absolutely fabulous man - RPGs were one of the first things to inspire me to draw characters, and if I had run into this one then it would have lit a fire under my ass. Great inspiration and great drawings. The cover is slick too.
Two thumbs up. We need more stuff like this on the shelves IMHO.
