:punkgirl: Concept and 3d Animation

Hi i'm a 25 yr female interested in concept design and animation i have been for a very long time and i think i put to much thought into it. i have'nt really been to any schools oh except itt tech which was a waste of time and money so now i'm getting very picky, but i am considering traveling out of my to go to school. do i go to a school that teaches concept design first than go to a school that teaches animation second or vice-verse or is there a school that offers both in the same school.

any advie is much appreciated

Advice #1: Consider proper spelling and grammer very important--especially at your age. You need to communicate at a professional level to have employers (and schools) take you seriously.

Any decent animation program would be teaching you concept design as well. There aren't currently any concept design degree programs in the USA (that I've heard of), but you can look into ateliers or outside the country.

Your name sounds familiar, so I hope I'm not doing this for the second time! Max the Mutt Animation School in Toronto now offers a four year Diploma Program in Concept Art for Animation and Video Games. Next year this program will have students in year one and two. The program offers everything you are asking about. For more information about us and about this program, please check out the website and the Blog. You'll find a gallery of student work that will indicate the quality of work produced by our students and graduates. We are currently accepting applications for Sept. 2008.
