Hello everyone!

I'd like to share some of my work from the past couple months. It's been almost 2 years since the Montreal workshop and I've been working hard to improve my skills since then. I had a great critique from Coro, Marko and Dan Milligan and it really put the work I was doing in perspective and helped me focus on what I needed to do to get better.

Also, thanks for all the MB videos. They have helped me greatly in just the last couple of months. You can probably already tell the influence from a couple of my pieces. Mainly the tank vehicle (Sorry, Kemp. I promise next time I won't rip off your presentation style :)). Nox, Jason Chan, Coro, Richard, Kemp, Andrew, Whit and the video producers (you guys do a top notch job). I hope I didn't miss anyone.

I'd appreciate any comments so feel free to critique anything.

I also like the mess around with Zbrush.

thanks for posting man i think you have a pretty diverse set of illustrations here. I do feel that some of your designs have an illogical aspect to them. the anatomy with in your Zbrush models has a kind of random and disjunct flow.
I would really put some time into thinkig about movement, weight, and the skeleten underneath when making a design.

oh yeah, I remember you. I gave you an ass solid crit on this guy (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=333130&d=1206553700). I probably went by a different name (BOOM!, or Thest?)

Anyway, you've improved alot man. Mad props, keep doing it.

@Robert.B

Thanks Robert, you've always given me good advice on my other posts. You are right and I think I'll remove some of my Zbrush work as I think it hinders more than helps my overall portfolio.

@Coinpurse

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

nice little bump you got here, pal! i love all of it, although I find some of that zBrush work a bit too "random" in some of the shapes. but that's just a matter of my personal opinion anyway. my fav must be that tower thingy, which "cuts" the the screen in two. reason I liked it is because the composition and colours are very pleasing; it borders the line between artsy art and concept art. ;)

again, nice stuff!

I hope my advice hasnt discouraged you an any way because you obviously know how to model organicly which is what zbrush is primarilly good for.I would just conicder some of these aspects with your next design.

@mysteryofalbesila - Thanks very much!

@Angroc - Haha, thank you.

@Robert.B - No, you didn't discourage me at all, far from it. I've posted my zbrush sketches on other forums and people have said the exact same thing you have. I don't want people to get turned off by my work and I want to present only my best stuff. You've helped me a great deal! Cheers!
