Em.... i am a noobie and this is my first thread...
this is my second char i ever done when i start doing 3d max
he's unnamed and i am planning to model 6~7 more characters for this huge production animation doing for my grad film....><"
plz give me lots of critiques (you can say almost anything... what ever will make me improve.. just don't say mom jokes) and also some ideas for its name.... tyty

"Zglorbnok"? Does it speak well enough to speak its own name?
Let me first say; I think he is really cool.
Then a few crits; some places have a nice bumpy texture, but on his flayed back, things look a little too smoothed out. Maybe there should be a ridge where the skin ends. I don't know what sort of polygon count you are going for though, or if his back will be seen up close either. Likewise, some maps seem more stretched than others.
I also hear you can get seamless cylindrical maps if you have issues lining those 'flayer tusk' stripes up? I don't know if that yellow texture is quite "messy" enough to match the rest. Another small thing you could do was add an opacity map at the edge of the jeans, so they could be made more torn. Because your original drawing has a different, more rugged look.

it's actually my first time mapping a whole character with pelt.... so some weird shit happpens...=0="... expecially when the part that i seriously don't know where should i draw my pelt sceams (like the hand) and when i map it it becomes really messed up so i had to move my actual uvw file after..= ="

zbrush mapping is the shit dude! use zbrush to paint yuour textures right to 3d and then export it as psd. Ill show u next time i see u in school
i like the monster, i wanna see him with hair now :)
and also try to play with blood a little, it seems too colorful right now.. make him a little more scary by creating less of saturation and luminosity
