P.O.W.! Challenge 9
Deadline: April 8, 2008, 11:59 pm anywhere in the world.

Topic: Dinner Time

This is simple and straight-forward, and should give you something to chew on for a while. Interpret any way you wish. Any media. B&W or Color.

You can present your solution as a minimum of TWO to a maximum of SIX pages which adhere to standard comic specs as below...and, yes, you can have the first or last (or both) as a splash page if you want.

Standard Comic Book Size:

--Trim size: 6 5/8" x 10 1/4"
--Live art area: 6" x 9"
--Bleed size before trimming: 6 7/8" x 10 1/2" (1/8" in all directions)

This thread will be the place you ask questions on this challenge, trash talk, post WIPs and your final art. See the READ THIS FIRST thread for all specs.

To mark our 10th Challenge, there will be a special one-month competition starting on April 8 that will be a minimum of six pages to a maximum of 16 pages, and you all decide the topic...heehee. See the special thread below...

First time trying P.O.W. Anyway this is where I got to, I'd love to do more but life is impending as the work week approaches and I doubt that I'll have time to do any more. In short I don't know if I'll have time to do improvements but I'd love feedback.

Welcome to POW Reversenorm i like yours. I like the story to it too. The choice of color seem to somewhat work for it. It's like back in the days or something, but with flying cars and a detective cyborg.

For the first page it bothers me, i feel like a scene is missing to how he got to the refrigerator and says dinner time. You should make a scene where he feel he is hungry and walks to the fridge and then watever, then there i think it will flow better...

For the Second page, the building in the backs is weird...not in perspective with the rest or something.

well that is all i have to say...now if i can just get my ass to finishing mine...i should have it done by tomorrow...i tink....
