I tried looking in the older threads, and found much information in regards to the illustration and 3-d fields for this school, but not much on advertising and graphic design. I found similar topics as well to this one, but left unanswered, so hopefully I can receive some response.

My first question is, how good are these fields of study in this school? Would it be worth it to take up these courses, and under whose direction/teaching should I apply under?

Secondly, if I take my general ed classes at a UC (University of California - Irvine, for example), would my credits transfer to this school? Is it thus advisable to complete my gen. ed here, then transfer? (Since I don't have adequate funding for AAU)

I also passed Advanced Placement Tests for English Language, Biology, and U.S. History with a 4 for each. Would My AP credit for English (or any other subject) transfer to this school? (I found a source that said yes, and one that said no, so I'm confused)

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Hey!
I'll be transfering to AAU this summer and general ed credits do transfer. They had a list of transferable general ed classes for almost every school in cali. if you are short on funding you should get ur general ed classes in a conmunity college. Thats what I did anyway. I'll be able to help you check out the situation of advertising and graphic design when I get there : ). if you have any more question you could email me at ovetto_tay@hotmail.com or you should just call up AAU for transfering questions.

Good luck on your hunt for a good school : )

I currently go to this school...it's really annoying in terms of credit transfers.
