This is a battle of good and evil, of light and dark.
Join a team to draw for and battle in the topics, the teams art is judged by the comunity and the winning team claims that territory on the map.
First team to take the other teams home city wins and become champions of the great art crusade.
Participating in 1 round does not mean you have to stick around for the next , but if you do... you get awarded art crusade loot

raw land with extreme natural defences of cliff faces , melted rock, and oddly shaped trees.
A wind constantly howls through the Horrors lending an unease to the atmosphere.

loot- There are many enemies on the campeign trail, if you like the looks of somebody elces loot feel
free to challenge them to open combat- watch out for headhunters.
a victory will increase your rank and you will rob them of their loot. This may make you a bigger target for other crusaders.A loss will

The background is still in a state of reconstruction. I'm sort of experimenting with the color right now, not sure how I feel about it. I'll probably put that off until the background is more concrete.

I decided that the composition on the first one was dull enough that it warranted restarting. I'm still a complete and utter novice when it comes to landscapes so we'll see how it turns out or how much i can hide with darkness.

ps: sellis i love the wip! the dark creatures are really alive..their stance is so..vital..of course it's just a sketch but i can feel their essence in some way...really nice! keep it up! =) eheh if i can add some thoughts...composition wise is a bit static maybe...3 horizontal divisions , 3people on each side. all in similar positions..don't know...but aain maybe it's just me =p...love the good guy in the middle aswell! he is also full of life...hope this makes some sense...can't wait to see more! =)

heres my wip for the light side - the title seemed a tad one sided and most people seem to be going the "fight a dark abom" for the light side - so I decided to go with somethin slightly different - this is a dark side guy whos defecting and now fighting for the lightside. The spears gonna be glowing gold and stuff in the final piece i think :D and I'll add in more light side elements that he woulda gotten after switching over - other than that though he still uses mostly dark side armaments, and thus is known as the dark abomination -_-

so as it would turn out time made a fool of me :[ and I was unable to finish the coloring on this - its about halfway done colorwise but looks hella sloppy, so instead I give you the b+w version with a bit more refinement - though admitedly I'm doing most of the refinement with color :o I still plan to finish this since anything that gives me this much trouble is super worth my time :D anyways hopefully i can get something more complete for the next one - but I figure I might as well throw my hat into the ring with what was done =/ so...

I may be in the minority but Im not real excited about the music in M2TW. Its teh same guy who did the excellent scores for the other TW games, but this one just isnt doing it for me. HOWEVER, the music in The Crusades is absolutely superb. Any thoughts of modding it into M2TW? That would be soooooooo sweet.
