I've been checking out art blogs lately. My top faves are www.myartspace.com/blog and www.artfagcity.com/blog. I tried to check out wemakemoneynotart, which is supposed to be a good art blog, but it seemed all messed up. Do any of you have art blogs or know of any I should read? I like the Myartspace Blog because they have interviews with artists like Mark Ryden and I like ArtFagCity because they keep on top of recent art fair news, Pulse, Scope and the like. So I'm basically looking for news and interviews without having to pay an expensive sub price for one of those art rags. I get Juxtapoz though. :P

i'm surprised no one has mentioned John Kricfalusi's blog
(http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/) it may be mostly animation/cartoon related stuff, but his handouts on Composition and Backgrounds & Style have been of tremendous help. I also like his lessons on color theory.
I don't know if ya'll are tolerant of his criticisms of modern animation, but I suggest to anyone that they try to overlook them because he teaches some very kool stuff. If ya like classic animation, you'll love it.
Aother one that comes to mind is the blog for the ASIFA ANimation Archive (http://animationarchive.org/), this one is amazing. It's essentially a project and actual location in LA dedicated to preserving golden age illustration, comic strips, animated cartoons, historical stuff, and instructional material (some of which is from the Famous Artist's Course).
Then there's Temple of the Seven Golden Camels (http://sevencamels.blogspot.com/), which is also awesome. There are mixed lessons/handouts on things like composition, layout, cartooning, and other things.

Lines and Colors (http://www.linesandcolors.com/).
Best single art blog there is if you ask me.
Great diversity with a lot of classical painters, concept art, animation, illustration, anything. The articles are very well written and often provide very nice background information..
And that is not because I was featured (http://www.linesandcolors.com/2006/05/23/lok-jansen/) on it....
I often check Drawn (http://drawn.ca/) too...
