Hhhhmmm... first of all... I don't know exactly what I'm looking at, and I have no idea how big it is. Maybe some sort of frame of reference. A person or something. Second, with how much light there is everywhere, there is an awful lot of extreme darks. It seems like the light would be bouncing all over the place, and there wouldn't really be any harsh shadows. The lights only seem to have nimbuses around them, but they're not actually projecting light onto anything; like the nearest ones on the track, rail thing. They should be sending light up the walls that they're butted up against, but they're not, so it doesn't read right. Anywho, those are my two cents. I think it's a good start though, keep at it.

Good update - things are started to happening. Besides Phuzion and Theos comments, I think a central perspective and equal weight of the two sides help to add to the "non-excitment" in this image. Maybe ad a centimeter or 3 on one side for throwing it off-balance (a few extra cms on the right side would be fine I think)?
Also consider like Phuzion said, a frame of reference. I would suggest a service vehicle or a servicerobot of some sort maybe doing some welding or changing a part, maybe even walk around with a big grease-gun??? :D
