I want to follow the path of a Illustrator ( concept art comics character design ...etc.) But in my country we don't have Illustration faculty . I wanted to know if illustration is closer to design or fine arts?

I would believe it sits right in the middle. ;)

Holy crap, setsuna. Is English your first language? If so, go easy on flamable here and make your post coherent with correct words and sentence structure. English is tough enough without curveballs like "cuz, "buy" and "stuffs." :) It took me forever to figure out "an off" = "enough." WTF?
HunterKiller_ - I agree on the "both" if you're talking the sum of illustration as an art, but if you're talking school curriculum you'd be better off in fine art I would imagine. Thoughts?

I can't speak for anybody else here, but I learned just as much information from design class that helped me with drawing as I did in painting class.
That is not to say I actually learned a lot from either one. :P
If I could go back to high school, I would choose architectural design over both. Just because by the time you're finished with that, perspective will not be a thing to you, and you probably get more actual drawing time than design and painting put together.

Illustration is right in the middle. It requires the finesse of fine art, and the basic creativity of design.
