View Full Version : Painter X crashes my Mac G5 on startup

I've been using Painter 10 on my Power Book G4. Things were going well, but I felt like I needed more power. So, I bought a Mac Pro to use as my main computer. I work with Final Cut pro etc. Then I loaded Painter 10 on to my G5. (the one that was replaced by the Mac Pro)

Anyway, Painter crashes every time I try and launch the program on the G5. My big (expensive) plan has run amuck...

It doesn't seem possible to contact the people at Corel, so, I'm asking you guys.

I've seen some comments on this forum regarding the trial version of Painter crashing on start up, and I've tried those ideas with no positive results.

Please help me if you can.

Thanks,

Eddie

Eddie,

Two ways you can contact the Corel Painter Developers:

One is to e-mail them at painterteam@corel.com

The one I'd try first is to post this message (and any other Corel Painter technical problems) at The PainterFactory (http://painterfactory.com/), in the Painter Discussions area (click the tab at the top of the page) > Corel Painter Product Discussion forum category > Got a Question? forum.

The Got a Question? forum is the best place to discuss technical questions and concerns with Corel Painter users and the Corel Painter Development Team.

Good luck!
