and a new one, this morning, the legs need work but i was trying to base them off the plustech walking tree harvester legs.

basically this is a 4 armed undead amalgamation with water pump connected behind a large liquid storage sac (formerly an obese person's abdomen *note the mucous producing organs remain intact for the sac's primary function).

this creature was meant to be an inhabitant of a bile filled crypt/spare part dump... the water pump sucks this acidic bile up, then the creature squeezes it's stomach with the four "arms" and the bile shoots out the throat tube (notice the skull has deteriorated from heavy use around the frontal teeth area.

this was really one of my first ideas for "castle defense" in the mod.

Can't wait to see this one refined a bit more, because i can't *see* the picture yet.

Good work!

okay, i'm going to try to address a major design flaw in all of this and change my way of thinking, i just hope i don't kill the aesthetic of this gory work. i'll have something done tonight if i get through my homework in time..

the idea... more armor, these are supposed to be practically designed enemies for a game, now if anyone has any good references for body armor (no artists plz) you'r posting would be greatly appreciated

Do not armor the baby turret man. He's my one and only ;)

Sorry I didn't have any constructive C&Cs here. If you can tell me if you want references/documentations or just drawings/sketches I'm sure it should be a piece of cake to dig up something though.

Just gonna add I love those sketches, but even more so the nutty ideas.

hadley forsythe, quick pchat sketch, i'm still having trouble drawing a confident line w/ my wacom (always strays from point to point), so i'm going to go w/ the traditional sketchbook and pencil w/ scanner, for the next few.

the mod is 19th century style btw.

Crits?

check out the comic book RADIX
great body armour design.

heres a link to the only image i could find, its not the most impressive of his work, but it'll do the job.

http://www.horizoncomics.com/images/Radix_Covers/issue03_cover01.jpg

MIT is in the process of being sued right now by these guys cause one of their employees straight up stole their designs of this body armour to use for real. MIT got a 50million grant for the project from the Army, and the lai brothers (creators of the comic) got shit.

bullshit right?
damn good comic too.

AWESOME story about mit, nice to see the REAL creators getting some credit where it's due, i like this style of art, and i'm not going to use anything as ergonomic as this (since mod will have an older feel to it, and this is very futuristic), i'll definitely take the placement into consideration though, thanks.
