Hey, finally i decide to start my own sketchbook~~~~
everyone is so amazing in here that i kinda feel embarrassing to put up my "roughs". since today is a nice day, i decide to show my stuff on conceptart. (what a reason...)
anyway. a brief about myself, I'm originally from China, now i'm from western Canada, an alberta cow... :steph: go 2 sku, not working.... at this point..
couple sketches from these days. very random. some weird and creepy ppl, a screen shot from Pan's Labyrinth, the first practice of air plane in my life. I have never draw any machinery stuff (like air plane, tanks, guns, space ship etc) before since i just don't like them. I tried to draw an aircraft today and it was a quite interesting process. May be i should do more on this and try more things that I've never done before...

nice start. you've got some good stuff. i'd suggest more anatomy studies, also try pushing your values a bit more to help give more contrast in the images. also do some color theory experimentation to really help your images stand out. i really like the airplane design only thing is, is that some of its perspective is kinda off but other than that keep it up.

zulu: thanx. yeah, i think i will play with this for a while
thesadpencil: hey, thank you so much for ur comments and suggestions! yeah, i really need to practice a lot. anatomy and perspective are my biggest problems, really have to do something about them. I had a lot of trouble with color and shadowing... ahh, too much things to consider at the same time -_-
two old sketches from early of this march.

Jack Nugget: Thank you very much!
two more sketches, ink on watercolor paper and matte board... the image quality is soooo bad because of my terrible photograph skills... and the worst thing is my scanner was broken long ago.. :(

welcome to ca! I also like the girl with the dark thing on the bike. The reflection piece is very well done too. Your craft came out very nicely for not liking industrial design.

Matsign: thanx a lot. lol, the reason i want to do some machinery stuff is because i need to learn how to draw straight lines with tablet. haha
one "tank" from today, two sketches from sk book, one self portrait, acrylic on canvas. (from long ago... i want to put it since today's sk has no color...)
