Fabulous work! Really inspiring! The mark making on the girl has a real Glen Barr feel to it, and the stylisation is perfect. Happy!

Mortem: Thanks!
Jakebrown: Thanks man. I work in both PainterX and Photoshop. Sometimes more in one than in the other but rarely do I do a piece JUST in one or the other.
Collin6099: Thanks!
TimGillette: Definitely need more anatomy study time. I imagine this will continue for the rest of my life. Hey I really dig your stuff BTW! Esp the girls.
Tribes: Thanks!
Daveneale: Aw shucks. Thanks.
Mysteryofalbesila: Thanks.
Matt Dixon: Hey Matt. Wow! Thanks a lot. I've been a fan of your work since I first saw it here on CA.
Troll Skelking: Thanks! Still trying to find a balance.

Chupacabra: Thanks! Love your work!
Lotet: Thanks.
Idiot Apathy: Hey hey Tom. Thanks man. Was good to meet you too. Revelations was inspiring for sure. It's worth it just for that alone.
Neverville: Thanks!
Ketka: Thank you. I like your sketchbook! Need more posts.
Quinn Simoes, SEVANS, Nubb and VampireHungerStrike: thanks!
Micaiah Nelson: Hey, I remember you! I'm a big fan of the Oddworld universe. It was really cool to talk w Lorne for a few minutes.

Hey man, nice stuff. I've been a fan of yours for sometime. I was looking at these images, and said to myself, "Man, this looks like Mark Behm's stuff...is it?" So I scrolled up and there it was. Nice stuff as always. You have a really nice, consistent way of caricaturing forms. Keep it up and show more!

2 things I love about your paintings , your warped proportions and how nicely you have handled them, and the use of lighting to drive the veiwers eye through your the basic forms in your paintings...
very very well done...

wtf
how does this thread only have 4 stars when every comment on here is an ass pat?
who gave this a lower rating than 5 and didn't say why?
thats bullshit. if you're going to give someone a lower rating than five when the work clearly deserves a five, i think you should say why.
killer work man, i gotta go check out your website now
5 stars from me.

wtf how does this thread only have 4 stars when every comment on here is an ass pat?
more and more 5 star threads are getting voted down lately. It's either because there is more traffic nowadays, and therefore harder to please a larger, more varied audience. or because some kid is trolling around and voting them down just for shits and kicks. I suspect its the latter.

As I was just looking at your super sweet concepts, my girlfriend sitting next to me on another laptop happened to be scrolling down drawergeeks.com. I saw your tarzan here then happened to look over at what she was doing and BAM! There is your same Tarzan on drawergeeks! I had no idea she was on the site let alone you were too! Tarzan at the exact same time, two diff screens! Crazy!

Your ability to describe form and value really brings out your work. At first glance I thought it was a 3d paintover. 5 stars.
