After reading the comments to my last post I realized how much I actually missed without getting a second opinion. So let me have it.

Quite disturbing but nice. Love the look of the "gloves" and "dress", they 're like some 30's clothes. The "hands" looks are a bit too cartoon for me.
And to be anatomicaly correct, birds in general doesn't have hands and theeth, and there not able to smile. But it will be OK for this time

It's more than OK. I don't think he was going for an accurate rendering of a bird. Who cares if birds don't have teeth? The painting is cool.

It's that "vein" trailing out from the lower lip that creeps me out. ;P But it's an excellent piece, love the pose. :D
