The Viking Age is currently looking for concept artists to add to the concept art team. There are currently two concept artists on the team but we are hoping to increase this number so as to speed up the art pipelines.
The Viking Age is a game being built with historical accuracy, gameplay freedom and community at its core. The graphical style of the game is designed to juxtapose the beautiful game world alive with a wide range of flora and fauna with the harsh and often cruel human element be it tolling away in a smoke filled smithy or dealing the a bloody killing blow to an adversary.
The concept art is quite varied from small hand held implements such as tools and weapons to environmental aspects such as flora or sub terrain areas to structures and vessels on to organic concepts such as PC and animal art.
Although as always skill levels ranging from intermediate to professional would be preferred a lot of the recruitment process is based on a persons personality and how well they interact with the team. For this reason I invite anyone interested in the project to apply.
