Nice and simple, I dig :chug:

it's great to see you posting everyday, my advice is to open up a thread in the daily sketchbook thread.

I believe daily sketchbooks are for the artist, more. To have a place to keep everything organized and in one thread, rather than multiple threads. They also really help to get the artist to draw almost everday and to see their improvement. Very fun also.

This piece looks great, although I can't understand why the sword looks like that. Too fuzzy for me?

Anyway..

I draw almoast daily and I was posting all my stuff here cluttering up the sketches section.. I was ignorant of the daily sketchbooks as well..

next time you have some stuff to post.. go to the top and start a thread in the daily sketchbooks... and keep posting your work in there.. it's a good way for us to see all your work in one thread.. and the thread never dies if you keep pouring stuff into it.

first i thought it was a fox-samurai.
the sword sheath really does look a little too fuzzy... or its just an odd perspective.

what sammy said : nice and simple.
if youd clear the lines on the quilt[?] though it would
give it a more uniform look... and the shadows in the
same style perhaps... eh. . . yes.

i really like the sword idea, simply based on first reaction, i'm sure you were going for a "tail" look and it really pulls it off.

as samurai's might have wanted to identify themselves with their clan, this would be of the "fox" or "wolf" clan, very nice.

The facemask bugs me a little... other than that, i love it. big fan of asian styles.

I absolutely adore how you've constructed the hakama. Dont know if i can put my finger on why exactly... i think its just the sharp bold lines... so great.

I'm really digging the pose a lot. I'd look and comment as much as I could if you had a sketchbook thread too. Ever since people like Sammy posted in the sketchbook thread I get no responses to my meagre updates though heh. Serious nice picture and you should make a sketchbook thread ;)
