Hello. I am trying to get better at drawing by keeping a sketchbook, so I figured I may as well share them with you guys so you can help me also. Anyway, any comments or critiques more than welcome. Be harsh:D
Anyway Here ya go, will have some more tomorrow if anyone is interested.
Some random sketches

.
My pitiful attempt at coloring something. Used a mouse and Photoshop. Don't really do much coloring so I gave it a shot. I have 2 tablets but they won't work for some reason:(

Thanks, I'm really glad you guys like them!
Here are two more pages:
This one was made from a picture. It's a stencil that I plan on spray painting on something, but for right now I just traced the stencil with some inks.

hehe, after reading the little sign on the sketch that says "I hate drawing feet" I noticed that you hardly have any feet in your drawings! I think that should be the next challenge to yourself... force yourself to draw more feet! :D
I really love the style of your drawings.. you've even managed to make boring everyday objects come to life! (like a bar code, or the binders on a sketchbook) Great work!

Yes, keep them coming. I like your clean, confident style. The floating cities were great. I, too, hate drawing feet- sometimes the lower part of the body altogether.

Looks great! you have a smoooooth shading technique to go with good value sense. I would say draw more people from life, and get some anatomy basics down, it will make your very animated style much better looking.

lol.. frazetta could draw feet though.. im sure he didnt mind them.. These are pretty cool.. only thing is, id avoid using a lot of graphite in a sketchbook like that.. tends to smudge a lot and rub off.. plus you can never get as dark as you like..

I'm fond of that last sketchpage you posted.
And the little one-pager with the robot and the baby, of course.
You clearly have a healthy dose of fantasy! One of the artist's essentials.
Looking forward to more!

Nothing too great, I stopped drawing for a while and I had to get back into the swing of things. The next page of my sketchbook is almost filled as well, so that will be up soon. Anyway, thanks for looking.

wow this is amazing stuff! I love it :) and I think you should take the "Why can't you fly?" "Why can't you walk?" guys and make that into something bigger ... I really like the feel of it.

I just finished this nice 19"x24" version of The Chase. I think it came out pretty good, I spent like 4-5 hours on it, I wish I had a picture of it though..

I must have missed out this thread somehow. Fortunately I found it now.
You have a fresh and lovely style going! My absolute fav. is the "mindless drones" piece.
I'll have an eye on your thread, dude. Just keep 'em coming.

New page. I really like how the bottom one came out. I've been thinking of this comic that I decided I was going to try to make. He's going to be the character. Lars. Oh yeah. It's gonna be weird. Anyways, thanks for looking.

Yea, this has got to be one of my favorite sketchbooks... although I find it almost freakish how neat and straightforward you keep your actual sketchbook pages.
