Been working on one painting for a while, due to many reasons (mainly my limited level of skill and ideas so far), I always find there are things to improve here and there.
I called it "done" about 2 weeks, and now I am still making changes here and there, big and small... the texture is not real, the lighting is not correct, this is a little overly done... things like that.
My question is: I just started off doing CG like half year ago, should I move on concentrate on short but basic exercises or do more long term painting？
