Wow I really like the movement and your life studies drawings. And sometimes its easier to draw faces on an angle and not straight on. But it seems like your digital drawing is better then your ones before that.

So I'm refusing to believe that I've spent about 4 hrs on this. I shall try to imply what i've learnt next.

Using what i've learnt in the last painting for this imagination piece. I get so scared with imagination pieces that i rarely do them. In fact, i don't remember the last time. @_@

I definitely know that feeling Sham, fear that you might fail at something can be tough, but you just have to do it.
Having said that, that came along pretty well. I feel like her shoulders + torso are too narrow however. Good luck with it!

Tim Murphy - Thank you man! I really appreciate you dropping by. I realised that now that you've said it. But i'm trucking on to the next study. And the next, and the next. :P

Cool stuff Shamandalie! I checked out your work from the beginning of your sketchbook to now and you've really made some huge improvements. I see that you're really hard on yourself, but I think you don't need to worry about taking a long time on things because you're making progress! Keep going!

Sycra - Hey Sycra. Thanks a lot for dropping by :) Looking back, i have made improvements :P I shall make some more progress hopefully!
Some more studies. The animal studies are actually for crimson daggers bloodsports#5. But looking at my schedule and mental state, i don't think i can complete it at all. Hopefully i could, for the next one.

30 min colour study.
I am so used to colour picking. Choosing colours by myself is so tough. @_@
This doesn't look right, but i think i've learnt something.

First one is Nausicaa thumbnails bloodsports which i couldn't complete in the end. AND-
Starting drawing again on trains. ( the 4th image shows how easily frustrated i get D: )

A little more sketches on trains. Been learning a lot at work, my brain and eyes get fried after work, but in a good way. :P Need to spend less time on the wacom - 9 hours everyday is not really a good thing. But it doesn't really matter cause i could spend more time drawing with pencils/pens. As soon as i get used to the new stuff at work, i should be back on track. :)

About 2 hours. As usual, my imagination fails me again. D:
I probably need to do more landscape studies to push this.

Just some Loomis studies today. Loomis studies never hurt. :) Apologies for the terrible images, my camera is old and apparently the scanner i have cannot capture pencils good enough D:

hi Amirah, those pages in the Loomis book are very useful! But I think you can try focusing even more on getting the life and gesture in the figures. Right now it looks a bit like you are trying too hard to copy the book and not really feeling the whole dynamic of the gesture...if you get what I mean.
btw do you know any places in SG for figure drawing that are less ulu (for me that means closer to west/central) than Goodman Arts Centre?

krysjez - I get what you mean, thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the art thing, sadly there's not many that i know about. Singapore's art scene is really tiny! :P There's another one that i think has drawing classes i randomly passed by that area a few weeks back - http://www.myartspace.com.sg/ (http://www.myartspace.com.sg/)
It's at Dhoby Ghaut, hope that helps!
Anyway, this is the first life drawing session i've been to since the past two years! This is so embarrassing. Hopefully i could keep this going.

I've got a secret to tell. I haven't drawn/painted for almost 6 weeks. The last post was literally the last time i held the pencil. I had been terribly busy at work and i get so exhausted mentally (though this is not good enough of a reason). So i decided to paint again.
Study of Arya Stark - WIP, 1hr.

Another hour.
Think i zoomed in too much, only concentrated on one small area. D:
Hopefully, i could get a new monitor next month. This old second hand monitor is way too small. And i don't even know if the colours are right. :P

Okay a little update on this. Still trying to get used to opacity settings being turned on. I don't know what i'm doing. AHAHAH.
That being said, i'm currently using Photoshop CS6 Beta to paint this. Love the new default brushes. Not recommended if you're working on a slow com.

You are definitely making progress. I really like the second image down on the set from your January 12 post. You can see the emotion in her face and a solid capture of her essence. Never give up. Keep going. :)
