Well this image popped into my head the instant I read the phrase. I probably could do better if I gave I another shot but it fully conveys the idea I had. Ink sketch took about an 1.25 hours (all that black space) and he tones took about 10 min on the computer. The actual image is about 7"X7.5"

Anyway I'd love to hear thoughts, crits, and reactions.

Nice work everyone!

I especially like yours Goran - I love the idea of a mummified corpse drifting through space and getting caught in their equipment!

I struggled to make mine look mummified, just ended up looking alien...
