Hey Zav, nice start to a sketchbook. Im not sure what the golden compass is, prob a game or film (ill go look it up in a min, lol) but the sketches are cool, esp the polar bear stuff, only crit is that vehicle with the gyroscope in the front wheel, so wouldn't let the driver turn it, lol. It would want to continue forwards, but cool concept. keep it coming ;-)

some neat stuff here, the high contrast b/w ones of azriel and iroek are my favorites. it would have been a lot cooler though if you had approached the subject matter from your own perspective instead of relying so heavily on the movie's designs.

yeah I agree. Unfortunately the art directors were pretty conservative so I couldn't really go too far off the deep end.
