some characters from today, apparently from the planet where everyone wears a gasmask. concentrating mostly on speed. 30-60 mins each. And yeah, bigger this time for your viewing pleasure.

I'm in agreement about the crimson-mouthed seal man thing... Very nice. Also like the simple hilly landscape sketch. Perspective's really wonky on that last image... I'm sure you'll study that and improve, though. Good start!

It seems like you have some good ideas but trouble communicating them. I suggest you brush up on anatomy to get body proportions correct for your characters, and be clearer about light source and light patterns on their clothing/armor. Keep going at it! :)

not bad mate, try not to use too many soft brushes when painting try and block in the form with large shapes before smoothing ( :P does that make sense )

Nice stuff so far, but it looks like you never go higher than like, forty percent grey. Pop those light areas and highlights!

Some real nice tff here, but you should try to define muscles some more

Very nice rendering, I think you might benefit from practicing on painting characters in more dynamic positions. It will really demand more understanding of anatomy.

Your rendering is very fuzzy; I'm guessing you're using the airbrush, or something with a very soft edge. Try going for harder edges, like the ones you have in the May 1st drawing. Combine that with the darker shadows/brighter highlights like someone else said, and your stuff will really shine.

i love that creature from your avatar. it reminds me of the chittery guy from hell raiser. really nice character concepts too, by the way what program is that your using for these works?
