My first real attempt at digital matte painting. Its supposed to be a compound of some sort. Set in the distant future. I think its done, but any comments or crits are appreciated. The atmosphere gives me a sense of abandonment, like the aircraft is getting the hell out of there for good. A desperate landscape. Enjoy.

Wow, that's looking great. I love it, except... the aircraft most closest to us. Somehow, I don't think it fits with the way the rest of the picture is painted, it's looking too... smooth? I don't know..
Anyways, good job ;)

Yes, you're right. Good point. At first I thought it was the lighting on it. But yes.. it because its too damn smooth. Thnanks

Hey there. Incase you came and looked at my pic and nothing showed up.. its becuase i think that netfirms (the free host that i was with) suddenly decided that hotlinking wasnt cool anymore. So now im with Geocities and tried that fancy cheat that davi pointed out for linking images. Thanks Davi. You ROck. Notice my pic is back. WAHOO.
