Hello all. Here's a first of hopefully many more to come. Done in P7 and Painter 8. I usually don't draw my images fully in the computer, but this time I needed some practice. I know I could of done a lot more but I just needed to get this one done. Hope everyone enjoys. Thanks for viewing...

Great concept! You've done a very good job on the girl's anatomy.
I think what this picture needs most is more defining and sharper shadows/highlights. Also you need to work loads on the girl's wings..

There's a great mood in the piece.

But I really think it needs some more contrast. It feels a bit to flat like this.

And the satanic angel, I'm guessing it's a girl. But her shoulders are to wide and hips to thin. Could almost be a skinny guy...

Cool work. I'd use shadows to define shapes better. The characters just trail off into the background. A good efefct sometimes, but I think the painting could really benefit from some more definition in especially the robot's arms. Its a very cool work with good atmosphere.

Cool initial idea, I like the feeling you get on looking up on the robot, it looks huge :)
I have a couple of suggestions regarding the coloring, if you don't mind. Like people said, some more hard edges and contrast would be nice. One way of doing this which I think would make it more clear is to separate the different elements more...

...while doing the picture, it's easier to push forward the things you'd like the viewer to see first, second etc...and things get more clear. Ofc. you don't need to follow these rules 100% but it's nice to keep them in mind as basic rules while painting.

just doodeling on top trying to illustrate my point.

Would be nice if the girl did something as well, not just standing straight down, or had some weapon or something, to give the picture a bit more story.

hope you don't mind, just my 2 cents...

Really cool concept, I like the composition alot. But it seems to get kinda lost. That paintover Joachim did is just what the piece needed.

That paintover is kickass in a serious way!

EDIT: I can't stop looking at that paintover!
