Hey everyone, I've been looking through these forums for a while now, and thought I would post some of my sketchbook/class work.

Every time I come here, my self esteem drops like 900 points, and yet at the same time I am inspired and force myself to try harder and grow.

I am a fourth semester student in the Illustration program at San Jose State University, and feel like I'm almost not cut out for this, but I think if I can show myself that I am actually improving, I can do some cool stuff.

Anyways, here are some drawings I've done so far this semester, any crits are obviously welcome.

One of my teachers said something that really stuck with me, and it really helps me to get along with my work. Here it is: "It's not about trying to not suck, it's about trying to suck less every time you draw."

I plan on updating this page 3-4 times a week, and diving into digital stuff whenever I can save up for a tablet.

All right! I've been bugging you to start one of these for so long! Tons of improvement since the last drawings I saw from you. The forms on the torso in the second one read really well. Looks to me like you need a lot more face/head studies though. Keep posting!

That first one was definately my favourite. :D Love the loose lines there. And the last one is stylish. :)

Heres another update with some more stuff I've done in class. Over the summer I'm hopefully going to post some digital stuffs.
