yea--i was completly obsessed with these as a youngster.--and after looking through them i discovered they are as charming and ingenious as ever.
lono--HA! yea i still have all my old cards, and i have all the bigs one too. there was one that was like a school/class photo with a LOT of the kids in it--great stuff
this one time: i asked my mom for a whole BOX of garbage pail kids as a reward for something i had done. she didnt like them, and only my dad would buy them for me. so she dropped me off for school one morning as i was pleading with her, but she said no. when she picked me up later that day from school--i started to get into the the passenger side and saw only a book of hers. i was dissapointed. then as i removed the book...underneath was A WHOLE BOX OF GARBAGE PAIL KIDS!!
i was so giddy..and that was the day my mother proved her love to me. haha

My dad did a lot of business in Japan when I was a kid and he had one of his business partners over for dinner one night who was visiting the states. Heh. Well, I was really hyper and crazy (I notice this now...because I have kids) but I remember showing him my GPK's and he loved them. I gave him all of my extra's.
Memories.
