just a simple graphite(colored pencil accents) thingmajig for a highschool art class. the blue thing on the end of the fingers is a thread tying them togethr.. tying together my whole metaphor as well.. like i said elsewhere.. thers one i tell ppl. and one that it means to me. i kinda hope that everyone can make their own interpretation tho so i wont say anything here. thanks for any comments. personally i have difficulties pushing darks.. finally put alot into the background and it made it 6 times better... btw the top left corner.. is lighter cuz of sunlight glare. not me lol... thank you again. shoot ur comments and questions please!!
oo i just realized the front side was blowing forward a lil bit when i took the shot.. so it makes the thumb look huger in proportion to the other three fingers... use ur imagination.. its not as bad as it looks.. im sure its not perfect either tho

wow.
the anatomy is there chudzta. like me, you seem to stick to harder leads. go softer and build higher contrast, you have an eye for detail, push it(thats if its realizim your shooting for). nice stylized piece, i might not of broke the frame with the fingers, illustratively. juss my 2cents. ;)

Nice concept.
The hand lines are not looking natural though, maybe you could try softening them to make it look better. Also, the bent finger is wrongly drawn, I think. *imitates bent finger* somehow I can't make my finger bend like that O_o

thanx ruby. yeah if it was just for kicks or my choice i wouldnt have framed into the fingers. but it was the assignment to push the object off the page *cough* gay. but hey its school
cadence - yeah we had a lot of debate in class.. like 6 of us. i think 4 of us could get it to look like that.. btw like i said b4 the wind was blowing the right side forward. so its making it looka tad more distorted there then it was.
jericho i might check whatever cover art ur looking at.. ive never seen it, interesting. umm..
yeah im not sure about it personaly but i didnt get any rude crap here and im only 16 with a shitload of improvement ahead... my next assignment is 3 boxes stacked somehow interestingly. what fun.

Its pretty cool man. Art with meaning is always a good thing. The values seem well done. The anatomy is as correct as it needs to be. Very well done actually.
