Another school asignment,
draw 10 humans doing specific things. (one digging, one reading a map etc etc). The piece was supposed to focus on the people and not the background, though I wonder if I could have added more details to the background?
I thought it would be fun to put them in a post apocalyptic world . :)

We also had to add a 18century steammachine to the piece.
If anybody wants to color it they are very welcommed here's a
high res version (http://www.alextornberg.com/art/concepts/scens/leaving_high.jpg)

gasmask: Yeah, you're right. I see it now. The running guy looks a bit strange to.
gallon: will do :)

Wouldnt it make sense if the perspective lines aimed towards the horizon? Im no good at persp. Just a thought.
I like the entire scene though. Id really like to see it colored:)
keep fightin.

That steam cannon rocks! good variety to the costumes, too
next time you do a whole bunch of people on one image, try to join the clusters of figures. There are nice moments (steam cannon, map reading, dog chasing), but they're isolated.

bwkeough: You're abolutely right.
Theo: The only perspective lines you see are the minor axis of the elipses (liked having them there so I kept them while erasing the other) and all of them leads towards the horizon (the wheels connects in a point pretty far outside) except the minor axis for the pipe, which leads towards a point a bit below the burning city.
I don't really like this piece, so I won't spend hours coloring it. Thats why I posted the hight res version, if somebody else felt like doing it...

well...nice drawing but there is a little problem...the three man on the background are so small...make them a little bigger..then it'll be cool...
