Amazing stuff, however in my opinion the second ork has too many shades of colour in his skin that don't tie in as a whole like the first picture does. What i am trying to say is in the first model, you got shades of purple, brown and grey and others working together to create one realistic and visually awesome skin type. The ork just looks like he got spray painted with different colours.
cant wait to see the first piece finished

I like the first one; however, the things--are they ornaments of some sort?--jutting out of his face look hastily tacked on--not only do they not come out of his face along the flow of the lines, but there is some Z-clipping in the ones on his chin. It would be better if you actually modeled them in, when, from what I can tell, you instead built it and stuck it just enough inside of him to make it appear like it came out of his skin. There is no pucker around them, etc, to make them look like part of him.

... looks like the thingys might become hair at some point perhaps? If so, he would look very cool.
Well both of them look cool anyway=)
