what advice you have about how to get jobs?

I am studying animation, havent specialized yet?

Look at the business models out there. Where do you think you and your particular interests fit in?

I know I'm gonna speak in semantics here but what you're looking for is a career, not a job. Think about it when you first applied to art school- you had a belly full of passion. Now you've got to focus that passion that much more narrower now and shoot for the places that can and will use your abilities. Remember that without that passion, it's going to be drudgery and a job. You want a profession where you'll want to stay late (and you will), bust ass (you'd better do that), and be fulfilled to a certain degree.

Do the research on the job market out there and be honest with yourself. Where do you see yourself making a career? What works for you might not be right for someone else- that's the tragedy and difficulty about helping people finding work in this business.
