Does anyone (and by anyone I mean someone who knows what they're talking about) know what I'm supposed to put on the cover letter for my portfolio?? This is for the animation program at Algonquin College in Ottawa.

I've sent emails, I've tried calling but I never got the information I needed.

"What do I put on the cover letter!?"

I received the portfolio requirements and the drawing test but they forgot the cover letter details. =(

I'm desperate now, my portfolio is collecting dust under the coffe table and time is running out, if it hasn't already! I don't know when the portfolio dead line is. I called Algonquin and some lady that sounded like a robot told me it was in August, but seeing as school starts in September that can't be right.
Their website is no help either, btw.

Sooo, :ah::ae::al::ap: please and thank you. =)

I'm a second year animation student at Algonquin so I don't quite remember what I wrote. I wrote a bit of info about what my previous drawing experience was and summed up the reasons I wanted to be in the animation program, as well as what motivated me as a student.

I think the most important thing is to simply be honest and sincere. Just be straightforward and keep it one page in length.

Good luck :)
