Does anybody know of any places that I could get some cheap markers online to start with. I was thinking of getting Prismacolor, but I don't know the first thing about markers yet, so I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. Anyway Thanks!

and click on 'how I work'

I use grey markers as they can be used universally for different subjects. The ones I buy cost around £4.00 each, but have three different tip widths in each pen, which are useful when rendering small details.
I also use paint markers (Edding 780) to highlight areas of light on reflective materials, giving your work a multitude of different textures.

This may seem strange but I've found eBay is a great place to get supplies cheap. I picked up 24 Prismacolor marker set for about $30 CND. Then someone was selling off 48 used markers. I got those for about $60 CND. Seeing how they are about $4 a piece online (in Canada, islandblue.com) I thought it was a great deal.

Just setup some searches in myEbay section and keep an eye out. Good Luck!
