Sup,

I just got this program and haven't the foggiest how to use it. I do know how to use Photoshop pretty well though.

Anybody got any tips and/or know about any good tutorials for Painter (7)? Preferably for characters/humans not layouts.

- Thanks

"Digital Character Design and Painting by Don Seegmiller, ISBN 1-58450-232-0 (EXCELLENT!!!)

The Painter WOW! books are decent for getting used to the different tools and brushes used in the app.

You'll find yourself jumping back and forth between Painter and Photoshop, because there are some klugy interface bumps when working with Painter, but it gives 3D painting effects that are very labor intensive to create with PS, and the watercolor effects ARE awesome!

Those are some excellent links, exactly what I needed.

Thank you so very much.
