Hey all, here is a recent scupture. It actually is a "concept" technically because what I'm doing here is figuring out the final look by painting over the clay sculpture in Photoshop. Normally I do this process on a much smaller sculpt first before doing something this large. This trick gives me the ability of trying different options without a huge commitment of time and expense, not only with color, but with shape as well. This is very handy in providing a variety of possibilities to a client in a short timeframe. Hope you like it.
I'll post some older work I did for the movie Dragonheart next week for you to peruse. You might find it interesting. Let me know if this is all too "off topic" for this forum.

that is wonderful, how big exactly is that sculpture? i love the facial expression as well.

Your skills are superior when sculpting. The next time you try to pitch a concept design to Tippett, sculpt your idea. Seems you truely understand how to create what you are thinking in this medium.

Great! Love the design. Good process for sculpting too. Its a pretty original design, which is nice these days.

this is gorgeous! how were you able to paint the photo so that it doesn't look like the colors are on top of the sculpture?

Inspiring! I love the coloring and sense of the skin. Make sure you post that other work you mentioned.
