It has a very energetic look to it. I like that. The anatomy of the surfer could use some work, but the pose is working well. For example, the forearm above his head needs to be shortened a lot. Put your own arm over your head like that and check it out in a mirror. That should help. I do that a lot, if I can't figure out how a arm or leg would look, I just look in the mirror....not that I have the body of a surfer or anything, but it's a good way to check general proportions. Hope that helps.

nice work there man, although i like the energy in this piece i feel those splashes of ink are too strong for the feeling of water, it kinda looks to me like hes getting shot and thats blood (thats my opinion anyway). like it was mentioned the anatomy does need some work.
but still its got a nice flow to it :)
