Hey all, this is a follow up to one of my posts i put up waaay back, sorry i don't have a site yet that allows me to post images but please take a look:

This is a character design for a school project. It was suppossed to be a half machine, half creature type of deal, so I actually made the creature half animal/machine and the guy is actually linked to the creature as well, he has no lower extremeties, hes attached at the waist to the creature.

I was thinking this character would be a nomad wandering a desert scape. Maybe a former scout of some regime gone astray or lost in battle.

C&C are definately welcome. Thanks for looking.

pretty cool idea - reminds me of a slightly less twisted version of some of those crazy Quake3/UT models - one of them was called Magdalena i think? Anyways, cool concept! IMO i think that the way you've posed your character it's very difficult to see A) that the creature is half-machine, and B) that the man is fused to it. A different pose or even just different camera angle could really help highlight those key bits of info. Great colors and shading though!

Very bold design. Only nitpick I have is the shadow beneth this "neo-centaurion" :D

Does the creature have a butt? I feel like it needs somekind of counterweight to support the heavy head and neck.

Nice rendering.
