question about concept art forums

There is a bunch of threads that I would like to know when the person who started them updates. Is there anyway to make it so you get a reply to when a specific person replies or makes a post and not just when the thread has been replied to.

yeah I usually read all the new posts, but sometimes I just want to find that thread that was really good with someones art that caught my eye. If it's been updated with stuff and it goes to the bottom and it's been a couple days I might miss it unless it jumps to the top again. I know you can just reply to a thread then it's in your subscription thing, but I don't want to go to every thread and say good job just so I can have it subscribed.

a trick would be to add your favorite artist to your buddy list

which puts them in a list on your user cp

then click their name on the budy list and find posts by them

Email notification would be what he is talking about. What is wrong with your email processing? Are you being 'hosted' on a shared system? If so, I would think that sendmail (or whatever they use) being down for so long would be uacceptable.
