i like the level of detail youve put into it... shows that you really wanted to make something out of it.

That's one bad ass koala!
Great detail and style. I like the eyes a lot - very psychotic.

wow! that is awesome!! the coolest creature i've seen in a while... at first i though some of it was acrylic.... you really pulled it off with the details and the textures... everything.
to be picky and honest, the one aspect that bothers me a little bit is the transparency of the red in the background. it looks like you lowered the transparency of that layer so the creature would pop out more. which is good
but some area of the red stroke on the upper right coming from behind its head and ear is very flat... i know its the background but i want to see more saturation in the color or more texture in the stroke.... what are your thoughts on this or your intention for the bg?
thanks for inspiring me with this stalecracker! i love the scratchmarks all over its skin. if it could talk like an aussie that would be very unsettling

the best part of an awesome piece is the inside of the mouth, really creates a believeable space. I would have never thought I would be scared of a were-koala.

That's cool!, the background reminds me a bit of Ralph Steadman, which
combined with the rendered foreground works really well.

Well stalecracker,
I have to say that beyond a good character design, the thing that really makes this work is the composition and color.
Excellent work.
Thanks for sharing.

Hey I remember I noticed that picture as one of those that stood out when I received the book. Excellent work, and I'm very impressed of how much work you must have putten into this one and the other, with that amount of detail. :balloon:
