Hey guys
It's voting season so I had some fun with this. These two have such recognizable features.
done with acrylics and photoshop for touchups.

I just want to give McCain a slap on the back and watch him spit out walnuts...
Anyway, these are very nice! In particular the Obama painting has his demeanor nailed. I'm more fond of the strokes visible on the face in his as well. I think something might've been lost in McCain's eyes. I can't put my finger on it.
I usually lay low on politics with art, but I really liked this.

These are lookin good. My only crit is that they aren't caricatured enough, they are sitting in that middle area, to me they look more "realistic" than caricature. The right side McCain's jaw looks more like a lump, I know hes got that wide jaw, so you should play up their features more.

These are great!
But I agree, they could be more exaggerated if you wanted to push yourself a bit more..
Maybe if you project the depth of the forms more so the characteristic features pop out further. Exaggerate silhouette shapes more, like the tallness of Obama's head and his Shmoo-like jaw and McCain's angular jaw and close-knit eyes and white pancake of hair. You might also want to do something a little avant-garde with the color for each of them.
Still, really nice to see and fun to look at!

Nicely done! I'm always a fan of traditional media and politics :P I agree with the idea of pushing it further. Give yourself a gooooood dose of Sebastian Krüger and then go back to it. He's a master of warping the hell out of shapes but still keeping them solid. I love the topic of this piece too. It's a good intelligent subject. Nicely done.
Cheers,
