I don't know in which section to post this. I rarely truly finish anything, so perhaps it should go in the new doodles section. On the other hand my unfinished stuff can be considered 'finished' when I stop to work on it, so perhaps it should go in here...

Anyhow

This is an old design I decided to revive for no apparent reason. The concept is as follow. An evil necromancer has created a tower full of hideous undead cybernetic creatures, and the bonecyborg is one of them. Its bulky design indicates that it is some form of heavy trooper.
The weapons are claws and various pointy sharp tools, and primitive projectile weapons. I'm using weapon technology from the 'pirate age', ie. hooks and primitive powderguns (which I call shrapnel guns).

Images are about 9" high, 75ppi. The Acrylic painting is really sloppy (especially the pose) and I'm not happy with it. It's somehow easier for me to start coloring the crappy things because I feel that it doesn't matter if I screw up. This is not good of course since I never finish any of the better designs this way...
On the botton is the old acrylic and original design from 97.

woah- i really like these- especially that they seem to be partly made of real human remains- (instead of just robots with shaped skeletal features)and i definately love the expression on the third pic- nice work!

i really love your artwork man.. have i told you this?

i do think that you should give just a bit more extra attention to your heads though. they seem almost secondary in most of the above pieces, and i personally think that the head is usually the most expressive part.
just something to think about.

your artwork still rocks me hard...... it loves me long time..

Thanks for the comments.

Lono> word, the heads are really important, and I should pay a little more attention to them. If the head looks wrong it can ruin a piece... Perhaps picking a thinner pen for the heads will force me to do more details and be a bot more careful.

These are very well executed. I think the designs are very nice and the color pieces really pop. I think you have some very successful pieces on your hands. Congrats!!!
