Hello, I thought I could start posting some here. I've been a member for a while now, but I think I've only posted a couple of times when it was the game character thunderdome compo (I wish for more of those ;) ). But I've still been lurking frequently and seen all the great art that's been posted here. I'll try to be a more active member from now on :)
anyway, here are some illustrations I've done for a morn roleplaying book from wizards of the coast...hope you like them.

WOW Joachim! These are awesome! The top one's colors are sweet and I love all your sketches especially!

So cool - the simple, clear application of color makes your work stand out, although the reporter's satchel at the top seems a little too simple :) The sasquatch though, wow. Who knows if you're seeking crits, you seem to have this kind of work nailed down, but it seems lame to not try to squeeze out at least one suggestion so it would be nice to see a couple of "doingers" here and there on the images. That is, small white highlights to pop out very limited areas of attention - i.e. on the sasquatch's teeth, lips and eyes. or one the grey aliens eyes - you know, just small wet highlights.

Awesome! Ooooh...aaahhhhh.... (blatant violation of the rules and regulations of this forum) The paintings are very cool, but I love the sketches about ten times more. Theres so much energy to them. I'm assuming these are traditional sketches scanned in...or are they digital? Great stuff!

Hey guys thanks for the very warm welcome. This is obviously a nice place to hang out :)

I'm late at replying my own thread, but I want to give everyone a personal thx, so then I must find the time for it...This will be a lot of thanx'es so bare with me :)

f3nix, thank you. ..haha

djfournr, thank you.

msync, thank you. I'm most happy with the top ones colors myself too.

egerie, thanks for nice compliments.

foster, thank you very much, it means a lot, since I'm a great fan of your work. what do you mean "from the get go" ?

wayfarer, thanks a lot !

smellybug, thanks man :)

carnifex, thank you

amadorL, Thank you ! Nope not been posting much here, but now you are stuck with me.

McNallyism, thank you ! I'm very glad you like them. Personally I prefer the colored ones, but I guess that is because it's hard to like my own sketches that much. Yup they are pencil sketches scanned in, I'm incapable of sketch lineart with a tablet pen, I hate doing it. Btw, you should finish your website so people can see your nice rampage lizard etc.. ;)

strych9ine, thank you.

cinsev, thanks mister.

roger, Thanks, long time no see, what have you been up to ? Yes I've become a father, and it's great. Let's hope he will be interested in doing art :)

liquidwerx, thanks mate.

fozzybar, thank you. Of course I don't feel the same about my sketches, but still appreciate that you like them.

cos, thanks cos. Let's hope I can get my finger out of my butt and post more from now on.

frost, hey mate, long time, yeah I know it's my fault. Just saw that Lumental is down, maybe it was for the best, it's hard to be active in too many forums, personally I feel I'm only able to be active at 1 place at a time. Let's try this one for a while now. Saw that you've gotten a new site, nice, I will update the link on my site. love the skewed city on the top meny of your new site !

jnorish, thank you. I excpected less people to like the beast than the rest, but I guess I was wrong.

f00l, thank you !!

Guess that was all. ..
