Nice work. I like your sketching style and the painting has nice lighting.

I'm really impressed with the faces one the sketches, they're really well proportioned, except for the nose on the larger one is a bit long. I think the right shoulder should be visible for the dj because when you have your hand that high on your torse you need to jut the shoulder forward and up, but I'm not entirly sure.

This is my first post, so I hope I wasn't rude or anything.

You weren't rude, chill :D Thanks.. as for the long noses and big head and stuff... I kinda do that when I get into a more cartoony aproach. THanks again, Kim Flynn :D

Really cool man. I like the way you hatch; not sharply.

Your shading reminds me of something I did once, just some quick sketches; it was a one time thing, and now I'm unable to recreate the look...

Keep it up! :teeth:

Hey Timmy, you've really got a unique style. Though I doubt you hadn't realized that yourself. I'm quite mesmerized with your 'doodles' in post #6. What's your inspiration (certain drawing manuals, or whatever)?

As far as advice or critiques go, I'd say it all depends on where you want to go. You have some solid skills, but depending on your goals you might want to hone them this way or that. This is maybe something you could add in your first post if you're really keen on getting thorough feedback, I think.
Either way, I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread if you don't mind.
Keep it up!

I really like your sketchy, hatching lines that you use. It gives your whole sketchbook a kind of unity.

Woah, now this is what I call feedback :P

You're right, drd, and thanks. Neat sketches, they're so organic :D

Hey, Shos, thanks alot! Well, the inspiration for all that stuff in #6 are people from the pub where I usualy take a sketchbook with me. :D I myself appear in those, if you look closely (first 2 drawings, in the first - upper left, second - center) =D Thanks again :)

The Original [E]: thanks alot, man:D Really

Anyhoo, here's some WIPs... :D

Nice pencil works, your stuff looks nice. Some of them though I wish the values were pushed a little bit more. Its just a bit hard to read some of the details in there. But your style works great, some what disturbing in places but definitely interesting :)

ah your style is great i love how your cross hatching describes the form of the subject

and in your digital paintings look well put together, as opposed to being painted one element at a time, everything seems to fit in your paintings

:D

hey Tibi, I really like your recent pencilportraits. They look quick but you seem to handle the medium quite well. I would recommend using that contrast you achieve with the pencil in you digi sketches as well. they tend to look a bit dull compared to the rest. try using more saturated colors and less grey and add a bit more contrast. But I really like where you're heading, so keep working hard.
