Well... I wasn't really planning on getting to involved with this site. There are a lot of really incredible artists here, and I was totally content just peeking in at the awesome being showcased here...
That is, until today I got on my dA account and realized that they wouldn't let me look at my own art- aka:horseshit
so.... howdy :>

Nice!
I like the little spiral you make for the articulation.
But some of your characters have some anatomy problem, I think about the sitting Arabian woman ; her hand is too small for the rest of her body. And the dancing girl has too short legs no? Maybe it's because her legs do not seems to be connected with the top of her body? Maybe you should bring her pelvis up, and bring it to the left...
I hope to see more! :)

The dancing girl really does have awkwardly inexcusable proportions, I wanted to emphasize movement, but it was probably too drastic in retrospect.
Admittedly- the crouching woman was drawn with her features and hand tiny on purpose.
It was done in an attempt to contrast the lack of clothing on the woman going down the stairs and the excess of bulky clothing of the woman sitting.
Thankyou for the honest critique, hope the back story isn’t too much information!

So I'm assuming these are part of your AP art portfolio? Congrats on the 5!
Lovely sb.
Love the movement around the page in post 13.
What are your goals? Drawing for fun? Art school?

The last 3 pictures were, and the fear of decomposition closer to the top was also part of my ap portfolio.
I actually forgot to post up my favourite out of my ap portfolio, and I have no idea how it escaped me, hah hah hah
I know I want to be an illustrator, but I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to go about it.
