very, very good, nothing to crit but the lack of things, maybe a cloud or two, or maybe a lone dieing tree to show the loathsomeness of the place, anyways, can't wait to see finished product.

Nice scene. I really love the grassy fields and the weather/age worn walls. Very nice.

hey guys,
thanks for all the feedback!
walkinginminefield - i hear ya...given that this is a sketch, i tend to leave the extra treatment (sky, etc.) to a paint phase...and for some reason, i had always imagined one of those barren, overcast, nothing but gray skies on this one. as you may or may not notice in my other pieces, i tend to veer away from "operatic" color schemes and shots...most of the time. i prefer more subtle, interesting shots not often seen. (who knows if i'm pulling it off, though)
jkior - first off, there's no such thing as a stupid question. second, this is one o' them traditional pieces...nothin' but mechanical pencil and elbow grease. the blue hue was added later in p-shop, just to give it a little something...
and thanks again to the rest of ya! more to come...contemplating a daily sketch file...so keep yer eyes peeled!
